Our mission
The Kerr Jarga Foundation is driven by the belief that collective action can transform communities. Every project we take on starts with the same question: what would make life in Kerr Jarga measurably better for the people who live there, and for the families who support it from abroad?
We invest in projects that directly improve the lives of people in Kerr Jarga — from infrastructure and healthcare to everyday wellbeing. That means working with local leadership on what is needed first, funding it transparently, and staying involved until it is finished rather than started.
Supporting education initiatives and empowering the next generation with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive. School materials, learning support and encouragement for young people who want to study, train or start something of their own.
Bringing together members of the diaspora and local community to work towards shared goals and lasting change. Members abroad bring resources, skills and perspective; members at home bring knowledge of the ground. The foundation is where those two meet.
